First correspondence

You write or call with postcode, room list, and rough timing. We reply within two working days with available visit slots and the consultation tier that fits — usually £95 for one room or £220 for a ground-floor walkthrough.

No deposit is required for single visits; packages request forty percent on booking.

Home survey and listening

Elin or Marcus arrives with a tape measure, light meter, and notebook — not a sales catalogue. We photograph alcoves, note where children do homework, and ask which pieces you want to keep.

Victorian terraces in Cathays often reveal surprises behind radiators; we document those before suggesting furniture widths.

Layout sketches and palettes

Within five working days you receive a PDF with scaled furniture outlines, paint references, and textile direction. Packages include two rounds of email adjustments; further changes are quoted at £45 per hour.

We link to Cardiff-friendly suppliers where possible, though you remain free to shop elsewhere.

Implementation at your pace

Most families spread purchases over six to twelve weeks. We do not project-manage trades, but we can suggest local painters and curtain makers we have worked with in Roath and the Bay.

Final styling visits — arranging art, cushions, and lamps — can be added for £150 when the heavy pieces are in place.

Closing notes and archive

Every commission ends with a one-page summary stored in our files in case you return for another room later. We do not publish client names without written consent; case files on this site use neighbourhood labels only.
